Travis Preston received his theater education from the Yale School of Drama, which led to a long, successful career. He has most notably worked as the Artistic Director of the CalArts Center for New Performance and the Dean of the CalArts School of Theater. Some of Travis Preston’s most famous pieces he has worked on include Prometheus Bound, Macbeth, King Lear, and The Master Builder. In recognition of his work, Travis Preston received the Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French Minister of Culture.
